Christopher J. Lynch
Elections Administrator
Christopher J Lynch was born in Boston, MA, graduated from Munich American HS (West Germany) in 1987, and joined the Army afterward. Chris served as an Infantryman for 27 years retiring as a Command Sergeant Major. In 2014 after retirement, Chris relocated to Rockwall and was hired by Rockwall County to preside over Federal State and Local Elections. Chris has served as the Vice Commander of the local American Legion Post, a graduate of Leadership Rockwall 19, a graduate of Certified Elections Registration Administrator (CERA), and currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce. Chris holds a Bachelors Degree from Troy University.
Christy Myers

Christy graduated with honors from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.  She and her husband Mike along with their two children have been part of the Rockwall community since August of 2000.  Christy has been an active community volunteer in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, numerous PTA leadership roles, and many other clubs and programs.  In her spare time, Christy enjoys traveling locally and abroad, reading, themed events and spending quality time with friends and family.  Christy is serving as the Chief Assistant at Rockwall County Elections and has been an integral part of the Elections Office since January of 2016 having previously served as an Election Clerk at the Polls.  Our top priority is providing fair, transparent, and accurate elections at the highest level.  We are continually trying to improve efficiency in our office and at the polling place to provide a positive experience for our voters.  She earned her Certified Elections Registration Administrator (CERA) Certification in July of 2021.  This professional education program offered through the Election Center and Auburn University is the profession’s highest designation.  Christy is an active member of The Election Center and the Texas Association of Election Administrators (TAEA).
Sheri Nerren
Assistant Coordinator

Sheri Nerren is a long time Rockwall resident. Sheri graduated from Rockwall HS in 1994. After attending the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Collin College, she graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce with a Bachelor’s degree in 2003. Sheri is a wife to Shannon, and mother to four wonderful children. Before working for elections, Sheri taught high school English in Quinlan then decided to homeschool her youngest children. Sheri started serving as a ballot board clerk when the office was on Kaufman St, in downtown. She worked as a clerk and then after several elections she was selected to be an election judge. She worked as a part-time seasonal office clerk before joining the staff full time. Sheri graduated from the best class of Leadership Rockwall in 2015, is a member of the Rock Wall Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, attends church in Royse City and currently directs a Classical Conversations Challenge B Program. She enjoys cruising with her family and driving to historical locations in the US to show her children the things they are currently studying in history.

Charisa Hauser
Senior Voter Registration Clerk
Charisa Hauser is the Senior Clerk in the Elections Department in Rockwall County. She maintains the department’s website along with the social media channels. Her Elections duties are mainly focused on the Ballot by Mail processes and coordinating with our Ballot Board. She came to work for Elections in 2018 as a temporary worker at polling locations.  She then transitioned to a full time County employee working for our County Clerk, Jennifer Fogg, in the Property Department, before transferring to Elections. Charisa is married to her husband Michael, and they have one daughter, Christian.  They have lived in Rockwall for 16 years. They have 2 dogs, Rose and Roscoe. She is currently the Secretary of Soroptimist International of Rockwall and serves as a Board Member for the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Texas, Rockwall Board. She also volunteers with the Children’s Advocacy Center Rockwall.  In 2019, she graduated from Leadership Rockwall. In their spare time, Charisa and her husband enjoy traveling to National Parks, hiking, and mountain biking. She is a guest teacher at her family’s business, Young Chef’s Academy of Rockwall.  She also loves to read historical fiction and enjoys going to the movies.
